Welcome to Miyo ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy outlines our practices regarding the collection, use, processing, and protection of your information when you use the Miyo mobile application ("App"). We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring transparency in our data handling practices.

2. Age Restriction

The App is designed exclusively for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If you are under 18, you are prohibited from downloading, registering for, or using the App. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a user under 18, we will promptly delete such information. By accessing or using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.

3.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Account Information: When you create an account, we collect details such as your username, email address (e.g., miyodev@miyowork.com), a secure hash of your password, and any optional profile information you choose to provide.
  • User-Generated Content (UGC): All content you create, upload, post, stream, share, or otherwise make available through the App. This includes, but is not limited to, text, photographs, videos, live broadcasts, audio recordings, comments, messages, and interactive elements.
  • Communications: Information you provide when you contact our support team via miyodev@miyowork.com or through any in-app communication channels.

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: We collect information about your interactions with the App, such as the features you use, the time and duration of your activities, the content you view and engage with, and your interactions with other users.
  • Device Information: We collect data about the device you use to access the App, including the device model, hardware identifiers, operating system type and version, unique device identifiers, mobile network information, browser type, language settings, and time zone.
  • Log and Diagnostic Data: Our servers automatically record technical information when you use the App. This may include your IP address, device event information, system activity, App crash reports, performance logs, and the date and time of your requests.

6. Public Nature of User-Generated Content (UGC)

The App is a social platform designed for sharing and interaction. Please be aware that any UGC you choose to share publicly on the App may be viewed, collected, used, saved, downloaded, screenshot, or shared by other users and third parties. Once information is shared publicly, it may be difficult or impossible to control its further dissemination, and it may remain accessible in cached or archived pages even after you delete it from your account. We urge you to exercise caution and carefully consider what personal or sensitive information you include in your public profile and shared content.
